Abu Dhabi, UAE, 3 November 2025 – Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi (SUAD) celebrated UAE Flag Day with a joyful ceremony and cultural festivities, embracing the nation’s heritage and values. The celebrations, which began with a flag-raising ceremony, united the SUAD community in a proud display of national unity.
The celebrations, held in front of the university’s flagpole and in the Atrium, brought together students, faculty, and staff in a proud display of national unity. Participants enjoyed a diverse range of traditional experiences, including painting, Telli and Sadu bracelet-making workshops, live demonstrations of Sadu handweaving, henna design, and Emirati burqa crafting. The event also featured traditional Emirati snacks and desserts, creating a warm and festive atmosphere that reflected the spirit of the UAE.
