This event is organized within the framework of the FLE Club “Cultivating the Emirati Garden” (named after Voltaire's metaphorical quotation "Il faut cultiver son jardin"). The initiative encompasses various activities designed not only to promote students’ environmental awareness, eco-citizenship, and sustainable agricultural practices, but also to expand their professional network.
About the Speaker
Dr Shamal Mohammed is a distinguished AgriTech executive with extensive expertise in innovation, research and development, and digital transformation in agriculture. As the Head of AgriTech at Silal, UAE, he leads Innovation Oasis and initiatives focused on deploying advanced technologies, enhancing R&D capabilities, and integrating agronomic knowledge to support local farmers in improving productivity, sustainability, and profitability. His talk will focus on agriculture in the UAE, its traditional methods, innovative technologies and challenges.
