Biographie
Dr Jean-Michel Moriniere holds a PhD in maritime law. He is part-time lecturer at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi and an associate researcher at the Maritime and Oceanic law Center of the University of Nantes. He is Vice-president of the academic board of EM Normandie in Dubai, a higher education institution focusing on the management of ports and logistics. He has been a qualified advocate practicing in France for almost 30 years and has been practicing as a foreign lawyer in the UAE for 20 years. His main professional focus is shipping and international trade law, including their environmental impacts. He is a reservist of the French navy.
