العلوم والهندسة

يضم قسم العلوم والهندسة أربعةً من أعضاء هيئة التدريس المتخصصين في علم الفيزياء إضافةً إلى مُتخصّصَين اثنين في علوم الرياضيات. تُغطي أبحاثهم عدة مجالات كفيزياء البلازما وفيزياء المواد المكثفة مع البلورات السائلة، والسيراميك، والمواد الفيروكهربائية، والجسيمات النانوية (المحاكاة التجريبية والعددية)، والإلكترونيات الدقيقة مع أنظمة MEMS، والأنظمة الكهروضوئية وعلم الاحتمالات والإحصاء في الرياضيات

أهداف التنمية المستدامة

With strong connections to the local community, the Sciences and Engineering Department participates in the Think Science Fair and the Abu Dhabi Science Festival.

Outgoing collaborations include NYUAD, the UAE Space Agency, Masdar Campus, the FANR, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and other companies and institutions that foster the student’s exposure to real-world expectations and interests.

The Department offers a Foundation year in Sciences, taught in English, designed to equip students with all the skills required to succeed at the university level, and to be successful in any undergraduate programme in sciences.
