Hana Subhi is Assistant Professor in FLE Department at Sorbonne Abu Dhabi since 2006. She obtained her PHD in Modern French Literature from the University of Paris III, Sorbonne-Nouvelle. Her publications focus on immigration and identity. She has translated several books in literature and philosophy from French into Arabic, including the French philosopher Edgar Morin’s “The Humanity of Humanity” which received the Senghor Ibn- Khaldun Prize from the International Organization of the Francophonie in 2014. Fields of interest: French literature, Arabic Literature, and translation.
