Date: Tuesday 10 December 2024 Time: 11:00 am - 3:00 pm Venue: Robert de Sorbon Amphitheatre, SUAD Campus Open to public Abstract A symposium organized in collaboration with UNCITRAL (a part of the United Nations) for the inaugural "UNCITRAL Days for Arab States." The event will feature two panel discussions, with speakers drawn from academia, the legal profession, UNCITRAL, and technical experts. The first panel will focus on arbitration, while the second will address insolvency. The objectives of the symposium are to explore the influence of the UNCITRAL Rules on the formulation and application of laws and regulations in the UAE, provide valuable insights to professionals involved in the implementation of these rules, and raise awareness among government entities responsible for rule-making and establishment.
